TM NETWORK has revealed the details of their highly anticipated new single, Carry on the Memories, set to release on February 26. This single comprises a trilogy of songs crafted by Tetsuya Komuro during the rehearsals of recent performances. Each track evolved through live performances across various venues, embodying the collective experience and creativity of the group.
Leading the single is the titular track, Carry on the Memories, which debuted during the “TM NETWORK 40th FANKS intelligence Days ～YONMARU～” concert. This song encapsulates the band members’ shared gratitude and memories, presenting a heartfelt tribute to their fans and history. Complementing the release are Good Morning Mr. Roadie and Show My Music Beat, born from the “STAND 3 FINAL” and “DEVOTION” tours, respectively.
The single also marks a special milestone with the release of a 10-inch analog record version, scheduled for March 26, further enhancing its appeal to collectors and long-time supporters.
In their comments, the band members reflected on the journey behind these songs. Komuro described the trilogy as inspired by the nostalgic essence of folk music, a genre that shaped their early influences. Vocalist Takashi Utsunomiya shared his experience of recording the tracks, which were initially performed live by other members, adding a unique layer of challenge to his interpretation.
