Renowned Japanese musician Ichiko Aoba has announced her “Luminescent Creatures World Tour,” scheduled to take her evocative sound from Japan to the U.S., Europe, and beyond. Known for her unique ability to blend minimalist acoustic arrangements with atmospheric storytelling, Aoba’s music is a true testament to her distinct voice and artistry. Since her debut in 2010, she has captivated listeners with over seven albums, including the critically acclaimed Windswept Adan, often described as a “soundtrack for a fictional film.”

This tour marks a major international event for fans who have followed her rise as a solo artist and founder of the independent label hermine. Known for her intimate performances with nylon-string guitar, Aoba has also integrated string arrangements into her live shows, adding depth to her latest works. Her versatility spans music, film scoring, and narration, highlighted by her award-winning soundtrack for Amiko (2022) and the ANCHOR Award at the 2023 Reeperbahn Festival.

The tour kicks off in Japan in November 2024 and will journey through East Asia, Europe, and North America, concluding in Mexico City in May 2025.
