The Rock in Japan Festival, a cornerstone of Japan’s music scene since its inception in 2000, has announced the first wave of artists and performance dates for its 2024 edition. This year, the festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an expanded schedule, spanning multiple dates and locations, promising an unforgettable experience for festival-goers.
The festival, which historically took place in Chiba’s Soga Sports Park, was reimagined in 2022 to create a more compact yet sprawling festival space. This year, the festivities will not only return to Soga but will also extend to Hitachinaka, with events scheduled for August in Soga and September in Hitachinaka, covering a total of ten days.
Ticket sales for the festival begin today with a first-phase lottery, signaling the start of what is expected to be a high-demand season for festival tickets.
